Kestrel Publishing was established in 1992 with the publication
of a walking guide to the Brecon Beacons National Park. The author
of the guide, and founder of the business, registered Kestrel
Publishing as a publishing imprint while still at University.
That first guide book sold 6000 copies, being reprinted once.
Currently out of date, the author would very much like the time
to update the guide and print a new edition. The guide was "Pub
Walks in the Brecon Beacons National Park"!
After the success of print publishing, Kestrel moved into the
world of electronic publishing and then e-commerce.
From Cardiff University, and the Thomson Foundation, to many
private companies and public organisations, Kestrel Publishing
has been providing quality services while gaining experience
and growing.
Kestrel Publishing is now able to offer the full range of web
design and development services - based on experience, contacts,
and doing business with a range of companies.
Kestrel Publishing has recently applied its talents to Microsoft
Windows software development. A means of integrating web based
database applications with those run on the desktop.
